Required Qualifications:

• Completion of Mold Making apprenticeship program is a plus, but not necessary.
• Minimum (8) years’ experience at a moldmaker/assembler level including experience with a variety of mold manufacturing and plastic injection molding processes/technologies.

Job Responsibilities: * Build new molds and perform Engineer Changes/Repairs to existing molds.

• Troubleshoot complex tight tolerance mold problems and help keep production molds in good operating condition.
• Communicate mold related issues, providing technical support and tooling alternatives.

Skills and Abilities: * Ability to use Master Cam CNC Software is a plus, but not necessary.

• Creativity and ability to adjust to changes quickly.
• Strong tool build and design knowledge
• Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Able to precision grind to within .0001
• Strong working knowledge of plastic injection molds
• Excellent mechanical ability
• Team Player
• Set up and operate tool room equipment, manual and/or CNC mill, grinders etc.
• Sinker and Wire EDM a plus but not mandatory
• Take direction from Tooling Manager and work independently.
• Ability to problem solve and be proactive.
